Heidi's father was formerly an Operations Manager at the 4711 fragrance company. The city of her birth is Bergisch Gladbach (a city of approximately 100,000 people, located about six miles to the west of Cologne) Heidi was raised in the city. Former German-American model, Heidi Klum is now an actor and a host on television. Klum began her modeling career in 1992 when she was working as a discotheque barmaid.
