Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the world of television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. She embarked on a profession in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long. She shortly after relocated in Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various parts as an actor, as well as independent films and commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering she enjoyed acting. Following her move to New York, in 2001 she got her first role as an actor on All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she appeared in small roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. The role that she is most remembered for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She appeared 85 times. In the following seasons, she was a part of her role in the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. The character of De La Garza was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008 she took home one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. As Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The younger sister Cory was born 10 years older than her. Her family was an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano was first introduced to acting at the age of seven old. Her babysitter brought her along for her first audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. Her audition was considered one of only four girls. Milano appeared in TV commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the American first musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
