Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the child of Mahendru, who has a Russian mother from India and a Hindu Afghan father. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. At the age of 11 Annat Mahendru choreographed, and danced in a show that led to a German television show. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. The girl graduated high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB studio but the moved on to study improvisation at The Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and an Russian mother Olga. Her family relocated from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. Television actress best known for her character as the an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. The actress was a regular character in The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
